Water Holes Trail #3538

Beginning at Horse Creek Trail #3514 in the Three Sisters Wilderness, Water Holes Trail #3538 heads south downhill through open Douglias-Fir dominant forest to a crossing at Horse Creek. There is no constructed bridge at this crossing, and the creek is deep with fast-moving water. The trail continues south to view swampy Dillon Lake, then hooks around the western side of the lake to continue south to Corral Draw. The trail continues south past the draw along a steady uphill grade to a meadow east of Wildcat Swamp. From there, the trail continues southeast past Elk Meadows and Penn Lake to it's terminus at McBee Trail #3523.
