Devil's Garden Trail #3665
The trail begins on a rocky knob above the railroad tunnel and proceeds on a route up the drainage, crossing several old road grades. Within the first mile, the visitor will find views of the surrounding area. The trail begins to switchback and climb, enters a canyon and then levels off somewhat, eventually ending at Devils Garden Meadow. The word "Devil" is carved into a tree at the edge of the meadow and small lake in the bottom of the canyon are distinctive features of the area. An old trail once continued on to Wolf Mountain. This trail offers a primitive wildland experience in an unroaded canyon.
