Elk Creek Trail #3510

Beginning at Elk Creek Trailhead, Elk Creek Trail #3510 immediately heads up steep switchbacks around a ridge. The trail levels out at the top of the ridge, entering Three Sisters Wilderness and winding through open forested stands adjacent to meadows and swamps. The trail passes by several lakes before connecting with the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 to the east.

Permit Info:	There are two types of entry permits required between June 15 and October 15 for trailheads entering the Three Sisters Wilderness accessing this trail. Overnight Use Central Cascades Wilderness Permit between June 15 and October 15. Day Use Free, self-issue Wilderness Permit (available at the trailhead) between June 15 and October 15.
