Cowhorn Mountain Trail #3458

Area Status: Temporarily Closed

The top of Little Cowhorn Mountain provides the hiker with one of the finest views in the area.

The trail passes through a stand of Douglas-fir, crosses through an opening and then enters a thick young stand of trees. Interesting rock formations found about .75 mile of the way up, gives you a good excuse to catch your breath. At the top, there is a fire lookout.
