Birthday Lakes Trail (Snow Trail)

Salt Creek Sno-Park » Birthday Lakes Trail

Starting from the Fuji Shelter, this loop trail offers a challenging up-and-down route with some very nice alpine lake scenery.

From the back of the shelter, the trail climbs steeply in places passing several small lakes and meadows before accessing Birthday Lake. The route then follows the Fuji Mountain Trail to the west past Verde Lake to the South Waldo trail. At this junction, turn right and follow the diamonds for a nice descent back to the Fuji Shelter

You may also access the summit of Fuji Mountain from this trail. After passing Verde Lake, take the Fuji Mountain Trail north which leads to the summit of Fuji Mountain and is marked by blue diamonds.

Note: These trails are recommended only for experienced skiers.
