Linton Lake Trailhead


This trailhead provides access to Linton Lake Trail #3519 (which accesses the Three Sisters Wilderness). See trail page for more information.

Fees: $5/vehicle/day or valid recreation pass.
Permit Info: There are two types of entry permits required between June 15 and October 15 for entering the Three Sisters Wilderness from this trailhead.

    • Free, self-issue Wilderness Permit (available at the trailhead) between June 15 and October 15.

General Information

Directions:

From McKenzie Bridge, OR, travel east on Highway 126 to Highway 242. Travel east on Highway 242 for 11 miles to the parking area at Alder Springs Campground on the north side of the highway. Linton Lake Trailhead is directly across the highway south from the parking area.
