KIOSKS AND INFORMATION BOARDS
Kiosks and information boards should be carefully
designed to meet the Forest Service’s graphic
standards. Kiosks should provide shelter from the
weather. A useful kiosk or information board may
include:
• Map with proper visitor orientation.
• Location of recreation areas.
• Facilities available within the area.
• Emergency phone numbers.
• Permit requirements.
• Address and phone number of the nearest Forest Service office.
