The Green Mountain and Finger Lakes National Forest manage more than 400,000 acres in southwestern and central Vermont and The 16,212-acre Finger Lakes National Forest lies on a ridge between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. All natural resource management activities are guided by land and resource management plans. Our multi-use is ingrained in the decision process of each project.
