Fort Collins Forestry Sciences Laboratory

Sign outside the Rocky Mountain Research Station headquarters.The Fort Collins laboratory also serves as the headquarters for the Rocky Mountain Research Station.  The Fort Collins laboratory houses scientists from the following science program areas: Forest and Woodland Ecosystems; Wildlife and Terrestrial Ecosystems; Air, Water, and Aquatic Environments; Inventory and Monitoring; and Human Dimensions.  In addition, the Fort Collins lab houses many supporting staffs: Acquisition Management; Budget and Finance; Grants and Agreements; Science Application and Communication (which includes Public and Legislative Affairs, Science Delivery and Exchange, and Publishing Services); the National Forest Service Library; Safety and Wellness; and Statistics.
