Describes tests of seven digital meters that measured temperature, relative humidity, and in some cases, wind speed. Readings from the meters were compared to temperature and humidity readings from a standard sling psychrometer used on the fireline for fire weather observations. None of the units tested was accurate enough to be considered as a replacement for the sling psychrometer.
