A new headlamp for wildland firefighters replaces the old headlamp. The new version features computer control, a brighter bulb, push-button control, variable light levels, battery pack quick-disconnect fitting, battery holder, and a rubber headband. It is available through the General Services Administration Fire Equipment and Supplies Catalog, which lists the headlamp as NSN 623-01-493-7630, NFES No. 0667.
