Testing Wood Shreddings for Erosion Control on Decommissioned Roads

Erosion can damage exposed bare ground after roads are decommissioned (removed). A 3-year study is being conducted to evaluate which of three treatments is the most effective in controlling erosion. This tech tip shows how the test plots were set up and is the third in a series on using wood shreddings for erosion control.
