Safety and Health Training for Contracting Officer's Representatives and Inspectors (CD)

Forest Service employees who administer contracts (from inspectors to CORs) face a decreasing budget and an increasing workload. This CD offers inexpensive training. Segments of the CD or all of it can be used by an individual or by a facilitator with a group of students.

The CD contains 171 PowerPoint slides that cover important topics including: regulatory guidance, multiemployer worksites, OSHA standards, and contract language.

This supplemental training should be combined with other specialized courses for a clearer understanding of safety standards prescribed by law (29 CFR 1910, 1926, and 1960).
