It's not only what you eat that keeps you going but also when you eat it. When wildland firefighters, incident management, and support personnel eat the right food at the right time, their health, safety, and performance can be improved. This tech tip discusses a new MTDC nutrition education program developed by Brian Sharkey and Carla Cox. The program, Eating for Health and Performance: The Wildland Firefighter, includes a PowerPoint presentation, an instructor's guide, and an informational brochure.
