Every year thousands of wildland firefighters complete mandatory fire shelter training, only to face the final daunting task—putting the practice fire shelter back in its container. The shelter must be refolded properly if the next student is to receive realistic training. To help students learn how to correctly refold the shelter, MTDC developed illustrated instructions and a 3-minute video, "Refolding Your Practice Fire Shelter."
