This short video shows two tests conducted in the Flash Fire Facility at the University of Alberta.
Both tests use a mannequin outfitted with underwear made of natural or synthetic fibers and standard firefighting shirt and pants made from an aramid material. In one test, the mannequin is fully engulfed by flames. In the other, the mannequin is exposed only to radiant heat.
