Stinging and biting insects are always annoying but if you're allergic, they can also be dangerous. Forest Service first aid kits no longer contain epinephrine. Employees who know they're allergic to insect stings and bites should get a prescription for epinephrine and carry an epinephrine kit when they're working in the field. This tech tip includes information that can help Forest Service field employees reduce the chance that they might be stung or bitten and help them provide first aid if they need to.
