The Forest Service is responsible for protecting watersheds in the National Forest System from the adverse effects of changing air quality and land uses. This requires a rigorous set of protocols to provide clean, high quality water samples for lab analysis and data interpretation. This closed-caption video describes the proper procedures for collecting samples and measurements from lakes.
