Forest Health Protection

About Our Program
The MTDC Forest Health Protection Program works on forest pest management projects that are national and international in scope. Examples of our projects include:
- Development and evaluation of new equipment to improve the precision and tracking of pesticide applications
- Investigation of new and existing technologies for pest detection and pesticide application
- Data collection and analysis support for research experiments such as the dispersion of pheromones in forest canopies and the drift, coverage, and canopy penetration of ground and aerially applied sprays
- Documentation of evaluation results
- Technical support for the Forest Health Technology Enterprise Team
