| Fire-Trol 300-F is a dry concentrate formulation that contains ammonium sulfate as the primary fire retardant salt. It contains a small amount of ammonium phosphate that acts as both a corrosion inhibitor and a retardant salt. 300-F is a high viscosity (1200-1800 centipoise), gum-thickened product. 300-F also contains bactericide, additional corrosion inhibitors, and fugitive color. A batch mixer is used to add the dry concentrate to the proper amount of water. | ||

and 1.0 percent by weight DAP, (NH4)2HPO4. Field measurement (refractometer): A reading of 16.5 indicates a proper salt content. A reading between 15.0 and 18.25 indicates an acceptable salt content |
