Keeping Frontliners Safe and Secure

If visitors are already angry or agitated, look for the signs that indicate a physical attack might be imminent. Some of these signs are when visitors:

  • Stop talking or stop all movement
  • Breathe deeply and rapidly
  • Pale in the face and neck
  • Tighten their lips over their teeth
  • Furrow their eyebrows into a frown
  • Break eye contact or make targeting glances
    (the eyes lead to where people are going or
    the actions they are going to take)
  • Lower their heads and chins to their necks
  • Clasp their hands or make fists
  • Shift or drop their shoulders
  • Rock back and forth
  • Stretch
