Photo of buildings at the Rochester Ranger Station in the Green Mountain and Finger Lakes National Forest. While these buildings are newer they should still be inspected as thoroughly as older structures.
Newer buildings like the Rochester Ranger Station in the Green Mountain
and Finger Lakes National Forest in the Eastern Region may not be as
likely to require significant repairs as older structures, but they should
be inspected just as thoroughly. Unpleasant surprises sometimes
become evident as a new building "settles in", and it's always best
to catch and fix those before they cause serious damage to the
structure or problems for the building's occupants.
