These notes are intended to help facilitators use the "Firefighter Cohesion and Entrapment Avoidance" program in training sessions. They include instructions on preparing for the class, showing the program, and leading discussion.

An additional resource to help facilitators is the paper "Crew Cohesion, Wildland Fire Transitions, and Fatalities." Also, facilitators who will be training leaders of crews that will be together throughout a season are encouraged to use "Making a Crew" as a part of their course material.
