FS COR and Inspector Key Safety Responsibilities

  • Advising the Contractor that all accidents involving death injury/illness and property damage shall be reported to the COR.
    
    
  • Receiving, reviewing accident reports and forwarding them to the Contracting Officer.
    
    
  • Reviewing the Contractor’s safety plan to ensure measures will be in place to mitigate hazards.
    
    
• Never take on the responsibility of prescribing safety measures to the contractor, instead point out safety hazards and allow the Contractor to determine the corrective action.
