Granite Creek Campground
Located along Granite Creek, Granite Creek Campground has two loops containing 20 campsites. Fir trees provide a good amount of shade at campsites. Horses are not permitted in the lower loop; however, the upper loop of the facility is horse-friendly and offers corrals. The campground provides vault toilets and each site has picnic tables.

Reservations are made though Recreation.gov (1-877-444-6777) and recommended for summer camping. Fees are charged during the summer season. Reservations may be made up to180 days prior to your desired arrival date in the summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day in September).

An easily identifiable landmark located on the outskirts of Prescott, this 9,799 acre wilderness is characterized by rugged granite boulders, some the size of a house, stacked one atop the other to elevations that exceed 7,600 feet. Granite Springs Campground
Granite Springs campground has four campsites with metal fire rings, but no tables. It is an excellent area to stop and spend the night as you’re traveling the Magruder Corridor. OHV riding is popular along the Magruder Corridor and on other Forest Service roads in the area. The campground has an information board and a vault toilet, but visitors should plan to bring their own drinking water.
Granite Tent Campground - Gunnison RD
Tent camping only. The site is located at the lower end of Taylor Canyon and provides easy access to fishing, rafting and rock climbing. Landscape includes spruce trees adjacent to the Taylor River. 6 tent sites.
Granite View Trailhead
This trail is designed for OHVs and access the Granite Mountain Trail #365 and adjacent Forest Service Roads in the area. The trail is usually snowed in until June. Access to this area generally opens by May.

Granny View Overlook is a great place to view the rugged Imnaha River canyon. Located along the Hat Point Road (see advisory below), the interpretive area and overlook are popular for summer visitors desiring to see the Hells Canyon area from the river bottom to the ridgetop.
