Green Pastures Recreation Area
This recreation site includes a small lake, the original CCC built bathhouse and picnic shelter, and hiking trails.
The recreation area was built in the 1930s at the request of the Clifton Forge Chapter of the NAACP and was originally designated for African American visitors during segregation in the United States.
Green Ridge (#112)
This one-mile (one-way) trail begins before the Pine Beach Picnic Site and moves south, hugging the shore of Shadow Mountain Reservoir. About 0.6 miles in, the trail crosses through private land. Be sure to stay on the trail. The trail ends at the Green Ridge Picnic Area. Be on the lookout for osprey in the area.
Green Ridge Boating Site
The Green Ridge Boating Site is located in the Arapaho National Recreation Area. There is a one lane boat ramp with a courtesy dock located at southern end of Shadow Mountain Reservoir. Boat inspections are required to inspect for zebra and quagga mussels. Access onto the water is available only when Colorado Parks & Wildlife inspectors are present.
Green Ridge Campground
The Green Ridge Campground is located on beautiful Shadow Mountain Reservoir, southwest of Grand Lake. Visitors enjoy the area for its great boating, fishing and hiking opportunities. Green Ridge Road (#177, #319)
The Green Ridge Road runs between the Laramie River Road (County Road 103) near Chambers Lake and the Deadman Road (County Road 86). It connects to #517, which is a road that runs east and west from County Road 69. Laramie Lake and Twin Lakes are located along the Green Ridge Road near the south end of County Road 103. 177, 177B, 177C closed to motorized use, including snowmobiles.

Green River Lake - Lakeside Trailhead
This trailhead is located within Green River Lakes Campground near site 11. From there you will just hike south and cross the road into the campground. The Lakeside trail follows the western, timbered edge of Green River Lakes and provides access to Porcupine Creek Trail.
Green River Lake Boating Site
This a undeveloped boating site, suitable for small water craft. The access road is dirt and is steep. Parking is available onsite for day use only, overnight parking is accommodated in the adjacent stock trailhead parking area. A double vault toilet is available in the parking area.

Green Valley Lake
The lake was artificially created in 1926 with the construction of the Green Valley Dam and makes the lake approximately 9 acres (36,000 m2) in size. Fish are regularly stocked from May - August. The lake freezes over the winter.
