The Forest Service is hiring up to 2,000 summer seasonal employees nationwide for the 2026 recreation season, supporting public access, visitor services, and stewardship of national forests and grasslands.

Available positions span a wide range of career fields, including recreation, natural resources, administrative support, and visitor services. Seasonal employment with the Forest Service offers individuals the opportunity to work outdoors, build transferable skills, and explore careers in public land management.
