Recreation Opportunity Map

Image of the Forest recreation mapThe Fishlake National Forest Recreation Map provides visitors an overview of the location of campgrounds, trailheads and other features found on the Forest, as well as general roads and routes they can use to explore the forest.  The map can be purchased for $10.00 at any one of our Forest offices, or online at National Forest Store.

Most visitors view the Forest while traveling by vehicle. Two scenic byways and several backways traverse the Forest offering splendid vistas. The Paiute ATV Trail is a 238-mile loop with an additional 550 miles of marked side trails. Visitors can also enjoy horseback riding or hiking on developed trails. There are 100 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and many open areas for your exploring pleasure. Cross-country travel by motorized vehicles is not allowed on the Fishlake National Forest and this map no longer adequately identifies routes open for motorized use.

Please get the latest copy of the Motor Vehicle Use Map or the Travel Map to help plan your motorized recreation outing. You may get information about acquiring the Fishlake Travel Map by contacting the Fishlake National Forest Supervisors Office.
