Fostering Resilient Landscapes and Community Connections in Valledupar, Colombia - Rocky Mountain Region employee, Dana Coelho, was part of a USFS International Programs technical assistance team delivering a restoration and reforestation workshop in Valledupar, Colombia last week. Attendees were there representing the city, non-profit organizations, universities, and indigenous communities. Targeted at building capacity to implement their Urban Forest Management Plan and larger watershed restoration goals, the workshop covered collaboration, planning, and project management skills.
