Bierstadt Trailhead

Two signs diplay at the head of the trailhead to Mount Bierstadt. The mountain is in the background.

The Bierstadt Trailhead is located on the Guanella Pass Road and offers a variety of summer and winter activities.

Facilities include parking, vault toilets, and interpretive information.

Visitors can access the Mount Bierstadt Trail (#711) or the Rosalie Trail from this trailhead.

Note: Due to high elevation, the area is not generally snow-free until late June or  early July.
