  • (Rescinded) Closure Order R9-22-24-04 - Connor Brook Road

    The purpose of this Order is to protect the public health and safety of users travelling by motor vehicle on National Forest System (NFS) lands by closing the Connor Brook Road until repairs to the road are completed in Shelburne, NH on the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF).

  • Closure Order R9-22-24-07 - Madison Gulf Trail Bridge

    The purpose of this Order is to protect the public health and safety of hikers using the Madison Gulf Trail which is part of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail on National Forest System (NFS) lands by closing the Madison Gulf Bridge until repairs to the bridge are completed in Thompson and Meserves Purchase on the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF).

  • Closure Order R9-22-24-06 - Wild River Road

    The purpose of this Order is to protect the public health and safety of users travelling by motor vehicle on National Forest System (NFS) lands by closing the Wild River Road until repairs to the road are completed in Batchelder’s Grant and Bean’s Purchase on the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF).

  • Closure Order R9-22-24-05 - Sawyer River Road

    The purpose of this Order is to protect the public health and safety of users recreating on National Forest System (NFS) lands by closing the Sawyer River Road on the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF).

  • Closure Order R9-22-24-03 - Wild River Campground

    The purpose of this Order is to protect the public health and safety of users of National Forest System (NFS) lands by closing the Wild River Campground until repairs to the damaged and impassable Wild River Road are completed in Batchelder’s Grant and Bean’s Purchase on the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF). Lack of access to Wild River Campground by motor vehicle prohibits campground management activities to occur.

    The purpose of this Order is to protect the public health and safety of users recreating on National Forest System (NFS) lands by closing the Bull Brook Road and dispersed camping sites during timber harvest activities in the Batchelder’s Grant on the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF).

  • Partial Termination of Closure Order R9-22-19-31 - Round Pond Road

    Closure Order Restrictions applicable to Round Pond Rd (FR-27)/Stoneham Snowmobile Trail within the Androscoggin Ranger District of the White Mountain National Forest, are hereby terminated effective Friday, December 1, 2023.

  • Closure Order R9-22-23-07 - Long Pond Road

    The purpose of this Order is to protect the public health and safety of users recreating on National Forest System (NFS) lands and to prevent further damage to National Forest System resources by closing approximately 1 mile of the northern end of Forest Road 19 in the Town of Benton on the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF).

  • Closure Order R9-22-23-06 - Glen Ellis Falls Scenic Area

    The purpose of this Order is to protect the public health and safety of users recreating on National Forest System (NFS) lands by closing the Glen Ellis Falls Scenic Area parking facilities during construction activities in the Pinkham's Grant on the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF).

  • Closure Order R9-22-23-05 - Area Closure of South End of Forest Road 15

    The purpose of this Order is to protect the public health and safety of users recreating on National Forest System (NFS) lands by closing approximately 150 acres at the southern end of Forest Road 15 in the Town of Randolph on the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF).

  • Closure Order R9-22-23-03 – Area Closure Around Forest Road 250, Pond Of Safety

    The purpose of this Order is for public safety while road maintenance is being performed.

  • Standing Closure Order, Roads, Trails, Areas R9-22-19-31

    Prevents entry and use of specific roads and trails on the Saco, Pemigewasset, and Androscoggin Ranger Districts.

  • Motor Vehicle Closure on Two Bridges along Bolles Snowmobile Trail R9-22-20-01

    Prohibits use or possessing any motor vehicle on either of two separate bridges along the Bolles Snowmobile Trail.
