Iron Fire
Firefighters are responding to the Iron Fire on Iron Mesa, south of Willow Creek Campground, on the Gila National Forest. Hikers and backpackers should be aware of fast-moving fire and the presence of firefighters and firefighting aircraft in the area.

Stage 2 Fire Restrictions
With continued windy, dry weather and increasing heat, the Gila National Forest will move to Stage 2 fire restrictions on Monday, April 28.

14-day Stay Limit - Forest Order 03-06-00-23-004
In order to provide for public health and safety and to mitigate impacts on natural resources, camping for longer than 14 days in a consecutive 30-day period is prohibited.
