REDDING – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 2 along with contractor Dig It Construction, Inc. from Chester, CA will be closing portions of State Route 32 in Tehama County to make highway safety improvements in the area.
Work on the $2.9 million Deer Creek Realignment Project is scheduled to begin on July 15, 2013, 2.5 miles west of the junction of State Routes 32 and 36 near the Elam Campground. One way traffic control will be in effect Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two weeks.
