WILDFIRES IN OREGON THIS SUMMER (2013)
The Oregon Department of Forestry is facing extreme challenges in wildfire suppression this season. They continue to meet these challenges with strong participation from the federal wildand fire community, local cooperators, tribes, and other partners. Fireworks of any type are prohibited on National Forest lands under Federal Law. Some exceptions occur, but only under special use permit, at the discretion of land managers and in strict accordance with fire prevention regulations.
