Be prepared for Winter Recreation

Remember:

  • Conditions change quickly
  • Days are short; dark comes early
  • Forest Service does NOT plow roads or clear them for downed trees or boulders in winter
  • Use caution when driving unmaintained roads, as snow can limit ability to turn around
  • Check with Oregon Department of Transportation for travel conditions and other vehicle safety tips.
