To protect public health and safety and align with guidance from State of North Carolina health officials and experts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), some recreation facilities on the National Forests in North Carolina are temporarily shut down. This may include visitor centers and restrooms, including those at trailheads and other recreation sites.
