More than 380,000 miles of dirt roads riddle our National Forests. However, not all of them were created equally, or legally. This project is intended to close and restore the highest priority degraded unauthorized routes in the Canyon Lakes Ranger District in Larimer County. By decompacting, recontouring, stabilizing, and revegetating 12 miles of roads in three years, this ongoing project is intended to improve the quality of the watershed, improve habitat, and enhance water quality within Colorado's only National Wild and Scenic River; the Cache La Poudre! Come join us for this last Canyon Lakes project of the season, to continue this long-term restoration dream in the montane reaches of Northern Colorado. Register online.
