Moose Lake Picnic Area

Moose Lake Picnic Area is located approximately 26 miles southwest of Philipsburg, MT. This lakeside picnic area provides opportunities for day use picnicking, fishing, swimming, and non-motorized boating at Moose Lake. There are picnic tables, an ADA-accessible toilet, and a car-top only boat launch area. There are no garbage services and water is not available at this site so please, pack it in, pack it out.

Directions

From Philipsburg, take Hwy 1 south to Hwy 38 (Skalkaho Hwy). Continue on Hwy 38 to Forest Service Road #5106 (Middle Fork Road), the turn will be on your left. Stay on the FSR #5106 to the picnic area.
