General Information

Within 100 yards of Big Creek and one mile from numerous horseback/hiking trails. Elevation 5,800 feet. Two wood stoves, propane lantern, no drinking water. Summer access high clearance vehicles. Winter access .5 mi via cross country skis or snowshoes. In winter to late spring a gate at the bridge, by Mountain Sky Guest Ranch (1/3 mi from cabin), is locked to reduce road damage. This cabin can be reserved up to six months in advance. Check with District for corral availability.

Travel south of Livingston on Highway 89 approximately 34 miles to the Big Creek Road, then west 4 miles to small parking lot just west of the Mountain Sky Guest Ranch.
