Old Condon Ranger Station
The Old Condon Ranger Station is part of a historic Forest Service compound constructed in the early 1920s. The compound served as a year-round base of operations for what was then called the Condon Ranger District until the current Condon Work Center was constructed in the 1960s. While not all the original buildings remain on the site, the ranger's residence has been restored for public use. The cabin features electricity and running water with a flush toilet in the bathroom. Just inside the screened porch with its great views, guests will find a living/dining room, propane heater, and full kitchen. The kitchen includes a refrigerator with freezer and new gas range and oven. Upstairs are three bedrooms with a mix of two double and two sets of bunk beds. Old Condon can comfortably sleep 8 guests.
