Upper Twin Creek Access

The Upper Twin Creek Access area is located 49 miles up the East side reservoir road #38.  There is very limited camping but a vault toilet is available. This is the last take-out before the Hungry Horse Reservoir and below this access point there is little current to be found.

Getting There

Directions

To get there turn South onto Forest Road # 38 (East side reservoir road) from Hwy 2, ½ mile East of the town of Hungry Horse. Drive through the town of Martin City, after two miles the pavement ends and the East side reservoir road continues for 55 miles to its terminus at Spotted Bear ranger Station. Near mile marker #48 there is a bridge over Upper twin Creek, the access is directly south of that bridge. The camping area and vault toilet are found on the opposite side of the road.
