Roman Nose Lakes
Roman Nose Lakes are a chain of three sub-alpine lakes. It is the only wheelchair accessible mountain lake in the Selkirks. Boardwalks take you to the dock as well as wheelchair pads at two locations for fishing. Frish species include brook trout, rainbow trout and cutthroat trout. Idaho Fish & Game stock the lower lake. Camping is authorized only in designated campsites. Trail #165 access all Roman Nose Lakes and offers spectacular views of the Selkirks and Cabinet Mountains.
General Information
No camping is allowed at the lower lake, however dispersed camping is allowed at the two upper lakes.

Gas powered motorboats are prohibited in all three Roman Nose Lakes.

- Travel south on US 95 from BFRD for 1 mile
- Turn right on Deep Creek Loop Road towards Moravia
- Turn right on Lions Den Road
- Turn left on Snow Creek Road #402
- Continue for over 7 miles
- Road #402 becomes Road #1007, then #2667
- Follow signs to parking area
