Graham Creek Trail #33

This rugged trail is a favorite with motorcycle groups but somewhat difficult to negotiate by hikers in the bottom of Graham Creek. The trail crosses Graham Creek several times while ascending toward Graham Ridge. Water is available for much of the trail's length.

Getting There

Directions

Access #1: (Lower Trailhead) From Coeur d'Alene, Idaho drive east on I-90 taking the Kingston Exit #43. After exiting, travel north on Forest Highway 9 (FH9) 14.8 miles to the turn-off. To access the lower trailhead, turn right from FH9 onto a short, dirt road at the trail sign.(Turning around on this narrow road can be difficult.) Parking is limited.

Access #2: (Upper Trailhead) From Wallace, Idaho drive north 16.3 miles over Dobson Pass on FR456 to the junction with FH9. Turn left on FH9 and travel approximately 5.5 miles to FR620. Turn left on FR620 and follow this road to Moon Saddle. The trailhead for Trail #17 (Graham Ridge Trail) is located .5 mile west of Moon Saddle on FR620. To access the upper trailhead for Trail #33, you must start from Trail #17. Trail #33 branches off to the right a short distance from the beginning of Trail #17.
