Beaver Sourdough Trailhead
The Beaver Reservoir Cutoff Trail (#851) is an extension of the Sourdough Trail that cuts across from the east end of Coney Creek Road (National Forest System Road 507) to intersect the Sourdough Trail just above the switchbacks south of Camp Dick. From the Beaver Reservoir Trailhead to Sourdough Trail intersection is 3/4 mile hike one way.

Directions
From Ward, head north on Colorado Highway 72 for approximately three miles. Turn west on County Road 96, signed for Tahosa Boy Scout Camp, continuing 2.5 miles to the east side of Beaver Reservoir.
Parking
Limited parking is available on the east side of private Beaver Reservoir, along County Road 96, for access to the Sourdough Trail.
