Chambers Lake Campground

This campground is located approximately 60 miles northwest of Fort Collins and situated in a mountainous, lodgepole pine forest. Each site contains a tent pad, bear locker, fire grate and picnic table.  Additional facilities provided include a playground area and a boat ramp. 

Current Conditions
The water level at Chambers Lake is currently low due to work occurring on lake infrastructure. Water access is limited in some areas, and the boat ramp is currently not accessible for trailered boats.

General Information

A single site may hold up to eight people. Double sites will accommodate more people. Tents must fit on the pads provided. RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur because driving or parking off road is not permitted. The parking length ranges from 20 to 45 feet.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $30 per night
Double Site: $59 per night

Directions

Drive 10 miles north of Fort Collins on U.S. Highway 287. Turn left (west) onto Colorado Highway 14 and travel approximately 51 miles. Turn right (north) onto signed road into campground (this will be approximately one mile past the turnoff for Laramie River Road).
