Pine Beach Picnic Site

The Pine Beach Picnic Site is located on the shore of Shadow Mountain Reservoir in the Arapaho National Recreation Area. Wonderful views of the islands on Shadow Mountain Reservoir and Rocky Mountain National Park in the background.

Waterfowl Hunting: The land around Pine Beach reaches out into a shallow portion of Shadow Mt. Reservoir near the mouth of the Colorado River. Hunting is allowed in the Arapaho National Recreation Area 150 yards or more from the Pine Beach Picnic Area boundary. 

Day Use:
$5 per vehicle per day
$10 for three days
$15 for seven days
$30 annual pass

Parking in the Arapaho National Recreation Area requires a daily fee. America the Beautiful Interagency Passes accepted.

Dogs must be under control at all times.

From the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and 34 in Granby, head north 12 miles to the Pine Beach turn off.

Parking available for approximately 10 vehicles.
