Rogers Pass - Rifle-sight Trailhead

The Rogers Pass Trailhead is a high elevation, minor trailhead located in the James Peak Protection Area. The trailhead is located next to the Rifle-sight Trestle on the historic Moffat Railroad. The Rogers Pass Trail (#93) is 2.5 miles one way. The trail starts close to tree line, overlooking the historic Rifle Sight Notch trestle. As it works its way up towards the Continental Divide, it narrows to a single foot trail. Sitting in the saddle of James Peak, the trail provides impressive views of the Continental Divide and the Fraser Valley.
