Beaver Creek Br 1A Road temporarily closed for public safety.

Hazardous fuels reduction is being performed along Beaver Creek Br 1A Road from Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25 and again from Monday, July 28 through Friday, Aug 1 from 6am through 5pm, daily.

There will be multiple hazardous fuels reduction operations happening along the road. Due to the poor condition of the standing dead trees there is a very high probability of trees breaking and falling onto the road during the harvest and skidding operations. The Beaver Creek Br 1A road is very narrow with almost no opportunity for the public to safely distance themselves from the operations. The road will thus be closed due to the threat to public safety caused by the heavy equipment operations and the high potential of hazardous conditions. 

Barricades will be posted at each segment of the road that is closed during operations and removed when operations cease each day.
