Directions
From junction of U.S. Highway 50 and Colorado State Highway 141 in Whitewater, Colorado, go approximately 14 miles along Unaweep Canyon to Uncompahgre National Forest access. Turn left off of State Highway 141 and travel to the National Forest boundary. On Forest Road #402 (the Divide Road) go south 8.5 miles, turn west on Forest Road #403 and go 4.5 miles. Veer left at fork to Big Creek Day Use Area. There is no toilet.
