Grand Mesa Visitor Center - Grand Valley RD

The Grand Mesa Visitor Center is located on the Grand Mesa near Cedaredge, Colorado. If you have time, browse the gift shop or join the visitor center staff for a nature hike, or listen to a presentation by some local experts on wildlife, wildflowers, birds, mushrooms, or our thriving population of moose! Visitors can purchase forest product permits and recreation passes at the visitor center.

The Discovery Trail #745 is an interpretive trail that begins at the Grand Mesa Visitors Center.

Join us for Moose Day July 29, 2023!

OPEN- Normally Memorial Day weekend through the last Sunday in September, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 7 days a week. The last Sunday in September is Color Sunday! 

No fees are required for this site

No fee. Donations welcome.

From Cedaredge: Travel north on State Highway 65 for approximately 15.6 miles to Trickle Park Road, Forest Service Road #121. Turn east onto FSR #121 and the Visitor Center is on the right immediately after turning.  Map

From I-70: Take exit 49, Grand Mesa Scenic & Historic Byway, and travel south on State Highway 65 for approximately 28.7 miles to Trickle Park Road, Forest Service Road #121. Turn east onto FSR #121 and the Visitor Center is on the right immediately after turning. Map
